Terms of service

The current service

ETC Connect provides 18 skills—workflow instructions and supporting materials for use with a compatible assistant—and an evidence service preview with three tools for quotation matching, review-range coverage, and precise text corrections. Its public directory release is in preparation; it has not yet been approved or made available in the directory. A preview is separate from that approval. The first public plugin release is planned to be free and available in the United States only, until further notice.

Capabilities depend on the host platform, available tools, connected services, and the permissions you grant. These terms do not replace a host platform’s or connected service’s terms.

Use material you are authorized to use

Use ETC Connect with content and accounts you own or have permission to access. Respect other people’s privacy, intellectual property, and applicable rules. Do not use the workflows to gain unauthorized access or to misrepresent a source.

You retain the rights you already hold in your materials. Using a skill does not by itself transfer ownership of those materials to EIOX.

Review the assistant’s output

AI output can contain mistakes, omissions, or unsupported connections. Inspect the original sources and verify important facts before relying on a result, publishing it, or acting on it.

ETC Connect’s instructions support a careful process, but they cannot guarantee that an assistant follows every instruction, finds every source, or produces a complete or correct result.

Understand what the evidence tools check

• Quotation matching compares exact words against source text you provide. A match does not establish source authenticity, factual truth, or complete source coverage.
• Review coverage calculates gaps from the ranges and totals you declare. It does not inspect a source or verify that a person or assistant actually reviewed it. An unknown total cannot establish complete coverage.
• Text corrections return original and revised text from explicit, exact substitutions. They do not save or delete files, update an account record, or adopt a lasting preference. Review the returned text and preserve your original before separately choosing to save it.

The tools act only on the supplied inputs. They do not retrieve a source from a website, file system, or connected account.

Availability and changes

We may revise ETC Connect’s skills, materials, and product information as the project develops. A feature described as being prepared is not a promise of a release date or platform approval. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every host environment.

These terms do not remove rights or protections you have under applicable law.
